For today's word prompt, I decided to go more with the second definition.
The materials you would find in a kitchen to decorate a kitchen tree.
.....
materials needed: strainer, spatula, blender, rolling pin, spoons,
refrigerator, potato masher, gumdrops garland
and maybe gingerbread man for the topper??
